A few things I realized while in the process of completing this picture:
1) I need more dedication. After losing this drawing, misplacing it, and sticking it in the backs of my binders and folders for around a year, it's pretty obvious that I need to finish these faster instead of floundering around about it, thinking I'll let it be incomplete forever.
2) It's about time I learn how to draw a sky.
3) It's about time I learn how to draw better, more intricate trees.

And I guess the first step would be observation?? Hehe, in the ride home everyday I'm studying the clouds and trees/shadows of trees a little more. I really have a lot of room for improvement, huh? -_-. This picture was difficult to work with, since I worked on it over a period of a year, so as I learned more about how I should do this, I had to keep changing it around a bit and re-doing some parts T___T.

There's a crease at the left side because I was brutally forced to fold it in Hong Kong >_<. Otherwise it would have been a crumpled mess. >_>. I tried rolling it up but it was inevitable, I suppose. The paper is that other size ~ I don't know what it's called o_o;; It's longer than computer paper, I know that ^_^;;.

The idea for the picture came to me from a Taiwanese pineapple biscuit box!! I finally finished it for a Mother's Day gift to my dear Mom :] Since she was the one most attached to this picture, I think ^_^.
